The day my BFF sang with Train

It's true.

You've heard me mention my best friend, April, on this blog many times before. What I haven't mentioned is that she's an awesome singer and has been singing since she was little.

I was invited to the Train concert by April and her parents this past Saturday. Every show, they pick a local girl to sing their song, "Bruises", with them. And, no joke, they picked April.

We got to be a part of the meet and greet and I got to go back stage with April while she sang. It was amazing! We met two of Pat Monahan's daughters (who were so sweet) and I stood next to Train's manager while she was performing. I was a total stage mom.

I'm so, so, so incredibly proud of her! She did amazing. Before the show Pat said that her audition video was incredible and her acapella voice was amazing.

April's parents had front row seats so they were able to get it on video. Here she is!
