Pattern

I seem to have a pattern here on this good ole blog. I post consecutively and then I abandon it for weeks. Truth is, I get busy and forget about it. Ohh well, such is life.

So since lists are my favorite things to make, I figured I would make one of what is going on lately.

1. I am keeping crazy busy this summer. I have about 4 families I'm juggling doing babysitting and housesitting for. I'm definitely tired most nights.

2. Althought I'm really tired come night time, I've been staying out with my friends until the wee hours of the morning. Last night we were out until 2am and I had to get up at 7. Clearly, I make smart decisions.

3. April and I are seeing Fun. at Britt tonight. It's supposed to be cooler weather today so I'm excited to just sit, listen to music, and drink.

4. My sister and BIL left last week to head home. I was definitely sad to see them go but it's exciting knowing that I will see them in just a few short weeks!

5. I am so stoked that football season will be here soon! Since my cousin is getting married on the first Game Day, we can only tailgate but not go to the game. But don't worry, I'm still planning the drinks and menu!

6. Speaking of football, I'm getting close to being ready to go back to school in general. There's just something about routine that makes me ready to go back. Plus, I love Corvallis in the Fall!

7. I'm battling an annoying sickness right now. I don't know if it's allergies or what but it's driving me crazy. There's been a lot of fires in the Valley so I'm blaming it on the fires.

8. I've come to realize that I'm not just a babysitter, I'm literally a "mom-replacer" because I clean, do laundry, drive the kids places, feed and walk the dogs, run errands, housesit, grocery shop, organize the house, and the list goes on. I'm thankful for work, but man am I busy.

9. I can't believe I'm saying this but my baby niece turns ONE in less than 2 months. I need to get started on planning it but I'm in denial that she's about to be one.

10. I've been feeling led to share my testimony. It's something I've never really shared to anyone and it would be nice to have it written down. My only apprehension is that I like to keep my blog fairly light when it comes to content so I don't know how I'd like a serious post. I'm not ashamed to write down any of the stupid things I've done (not drugs, I promise) because I know that my past is no longer and I have been forgiven through Christ. I know I will do it, it's just a matter of when!

I will get my Project 366 updated soon. I have all of the pictures, it's just sitting down to do it.

Have a great Thursday!
