Courtside seats

Everyone knows that The Sheriff has crazy good luck. At almost every Beaver Huddle he wins some sort of cool prize in the raffle. So, it was no surprise that he walked away from an online contest with 2 court-side tickets to the basketball game this Thursday AND a basketball signed by Craig Robinson.

Dad and I walked the 3 minute walk over to Legendary Gill Coliseum and we got there early to watch the team warm up. We also wanted to get maximum use out of our seats.
Here is the team stretching.

The guy in the air is our most popular player, Jared Cunningham. He's crazy good.

Here it is! The awesome souvenir.

The players were thisclose to us but it was so cool to watch.

We had Benny strike a pose for the camera!

A few things I've learned from sitting court-side:
-Important people from the University will come introduce themselves, ask you if you own the court-side seats, and schmooze you a little.
-At halftime, workers from the concession stand come over and ask if they can get anything for you!
-You may be forced to sit next to a smelly guy that takes up his chair and half of yours. And, said smelly-man, may creepishly track Jared Cunningham with his camera for the whole.entire.game.

After the game, Dad and I walked over to the Hilton for dinner. Our server was super nice and he forgot the chicken on my caesar salad. I didn't notice because I was starving but he felt really bad so we got a berry cobbler on da houseeeee!

Thursday was a great night. I've never sat court-side and I probably never will again. I'm blessed with awesome parents. I will have more pictures up tomorrow to document our fun Friday and weekend.

Happy Saturday!
