The quickest trip ever.

I'm just 3 hours shy from being up a solid 24 hours straight. Today was the longest of long days, but we got some big things accomplished. I flew to Portland this morning (at 5am, I might add) because The Sheriff was up there for business and it was a good time to move my stuff from the mini storage, to my new apartment. My hour flight turned into a less than 45 minute flight, so I got to be around as the sun was just rising on one of the prettiest cities ever.

Yes, I absolutely took this picture! Isn't it amaze?

After a quick stop for breakfast, The Sheriff and I drove to Corvy-town and unloaded my mini storage into the back of the U-Haul truck. Now, I don't want to brag, but I'm a pretty decent packer. In fact, The Sheriff said I'm the best out of all my siblings at being the most efficient packer. That puts me first in line for the Trust Fund, right? Anyways, we had that mini storage cleared out in probably 25 minutes.

The Sheriff sweeping out and closing up shop. And, of course, sweeping the actual door itself. Because that's important, right?
Our tiny U-Haul was packed to the brim. The Sheriff basically played jenga in there. Now that's efficiency. After loading up, we headed over to my new apartment, which I LOVE. I'm in the same complex that both of my sisters lived in when they were at good ole State. I also love that it's thisclose to campus and the stadium. We unloaded my stuff into the apartment in probably 20 minutes. Like I said, professionals.
Well, last but not least, a tour...
The view from right inside the front door. The door with the window is actually my back door out to the patio.

The wall on the left has a cut-out into my kitchen. And finally, a washer and dryer! You don't realize how awesome these things are until you live without them for almost 3 years. Coin-op laundry sucks. But yes, I do allow usage of my washer and dryer for a small fee of money, alcohol, McMenamins runs, food in general, etc...

My living room window and back door.

A peek into the kitchen. I have SO much more counter space that in my last place. I love the kitchen!

First door on the left is my bedroom, the last door on the right is my bathroom, and the one at the end is the linen closet. The linen closet in my last place was about the size of Mrs. Trunchbull's pokey.

My bedroom-it's huge! Momma likey!

All of the closets in this complex have these awesome organizers!

I feel like the shower head needs to be on the other end... But maybe I'm just cray cray.

I have a lot more counter space than in my old apartment, which is good because I have a lot of shat.

Aaaaand my awesome, huge linen closet. Yay for storage.

A final look at my kitchen. I'm sooo excited to cook in here and actually have some space!

I'm still in the process of figuring out my layout and design plans but I already love my new apartment. We'll be making a few trips up here, too, in the next couple of months to get everything unpacked and ready for the new term to start. New term, new school. Ohh thats right, school.

Goodnight, all!
