More Catch Up

In my attempt to play catch up, this is another hodge podge of different pictures. Please do not be alarmed by the amount of drinking shown in the pictures below, we are trained professionals.

Because I'm fairly busy during the week, whenever I get the opportunity to get off work early, we always do something fun. It happened to be 3 in the afternoon but margaritas at our favorite Mexican restaurant sounded mighty tasty.

April and her delicious strawberry margarita.

I stepped out of the box and decided to try a passionfruit margarita and it did NOT dissapoint! In fact, April and I wondered if there was any alcohol in them at all because they tasted like fruit juice.

A couple weeks after the pictures above, Mrs. Wookie graced SoOr (that doesn't sound very cool) with her presence for Middle Sister's Bridal Shower. Because the motto "where Mrs. Wookie goes, booze will follow" remains true, we had to hit up our local Mexican restaurant again.

Passionfruit, Mrs. Wookie's Cadillac marg, and Dr. Stacey Kevorkian followed suit with a passionfruit as well.

Dr. Kevorkian has been around our family a long time, knows how to tailgate like a true Oregon Stater, and has been known make over 100 jello shots to satisfy our whole tailgating crew plus random passers-by. Beaver fans never let other Beaver fans go thirsty.

Like I said, there was a Bridal Shower the weekend that Mrs. Wookie visited. And so, the First Lady made her arrival into town on a late flight from LAX.

Is that Kate Middleton? No, it's Middle Sister!

The bridal shower was great and it was fun to see friends and family that came. Middle Sister even had 2 friends drive down from Portland for it! She got great gifts and we all got to eat and hang out.

Oregon State alumni, donors, and supporters get the opportunity to take part in Beaver Huddles. It's where fans gather to eat and socialize and usually a coach or two from the College will come and talk about an upcoming project or event. We all love to go whenever we can because the food is awesome and there's never too many reasons to represent the Black and Orange. This was a treat because we had head football coach, Mike Riley, join us for dinner.

Brother and Nephew enjoying dinner.

The golf course served uhhhh-mazing pulled pork with all of the fixings. Yum!

Sir Mike Riley doing an interview for our local news station.

Another view of Mike during his talk. It was awesome finally getting to hear him at one of the Beaver Huddles. He's not only a good coach but a great guy in general. This makes me ready for football season!
