This past weekend, I was able to celebrate my second Dad's weekend as an Oregon State student!
Two weekends ago, Middle Sister and her friends invaded my apartment for the weekend. Rumor is when they went back to my place before the game, they drank most of my vodka. Nicole (Tracy's college roommate and the most hilarious girl ever) reminded me that the friends I invited may or may not have been chugging the whipped cream vodka SHE bought out of the bottle before we left the tailgate. Thanks, April, Brad, and Mark.
This weekend, my parents rolled into town Friday night for the beginning of the festivities.
First was the comedy show. There were 3 performers and the first and third were my favorite. The second one was just okay. I've said it before and I'll say it again, cool it with the sex jokes when you're in a room full of kids and their parents.
On to Saturday!
The Sheriff posed in his newest Dad's Weekend shirt. We did the math and this is TENTH Dad's Weekend at Oregon State. Way to go, siblings!
We walked to the bookstore, which was like a sauna with so many people, and I scored this fancy new headband for $8. So cute!
After the bookstore, we went back to the tailgate and proceeded to eat waaaaay too much food. Seriously. Our tailgate buddies make such good food.
Right before kick off. I wish I could get a picture of the new side of the stadium but we sit on the new side so I guess I can't complain. Our old seats were in that corner in the right of the picture. I don't miss section 19 because I now have an individual seat and my own cup holder!
The game didn't start out pretty but we got our act together enough for a W.
Sunday, the parentals headed home. I had to deliver my rent check so I got out in the SUNSHINE in NOVEMBER!
My apartment complex.
Driving on 53rd.
Witham Hill.
Fall term is winding down and we're almost done with Week 7. I always get excited towards the end of the term for the break and I am STOKED for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love everything about the Christmas Season!
