We headed to Portland on Thursday morning to fly out. Mom and I met The Sheriff, SIL, and Niece and Nephew at the airport.
We had an afternoon flight and I love being able to sit in an aisle seat.
Well, wouldn't you know it? Someone put a bag of little bottles of alcohol in The Sheriff's carry-on! We both managed to save $5.
We looked like the Griswold's with this replica of Mt. Kilimanjaro. I got the privilege of pushing this thing.
This was the main living room in the house, which was amaaaaazing, by the way. Everyone got their own room (which is rare for my huge family), and we couldn't hear any screaming kids early in the morning. Double win.
Only the best fast food restaurant. Ever.
LR looooved his cheeseburger! My SIL stayed home with Emmy while my parents and I took LR to eat with us. It was so funny seeing them with my nephew out at a restaurant. I asked them if it feels like 30 years ago, taking care of my brother. They said yes!
This was the view of the backyard. There was a putting green, a horseshoe thing (I don't know what it's called), and a play place. Ohh, and this awesome pool and hot tub.
We all took turns making sure the nephew didn't drown. He thought it was hilarious to splash us.
The "kids" went down to the strip to look around a little. We went to the Luxor to look at 2 exhibits.
We went to Bodies and Titanic. They were amazing. Titanic was my favorite but that's no surprise. Bodies was absolutely incredible, too! Thank youuuu, Mr. Wookie, for the military discount which meant free tickets to Titanic!!
Sadly, Monday night, Middle Sister and BIL had to leave to go back home. We snapped the honorary "we only see each other a handful of times a year" picture before she left.
That's my recap of Friday-Monday. I didn't take a lot of pictures but enough to document my first trip to Sin City. The rest of the week's post is coming tomorrow!
