Saturday Randoms

I have some posts due, but today I'm in the mood of just list making.

1. We're about to enter Week 5 of Spring term and I'm so ready to just be done with this term. Now, if I had decided on a major and stuck with it, I'd be 6 weeks away from graduating. But, honestly, I'm not ready to put my college days and lazy working summers behind me. Call me selfish, but I can wait a little longer to work for the next 40 years of my life.

2. Speaking of summer, I have 26 days until Memorial Weekend and April's faaaabulous birthday party I'm planning. And I have 44 days until I'm in Medford for the summer. Medford summers are the best. I'm okay with being a Townie (i.e. someone who never leaves their hometown) for the summer.

3. I'm getting back on track with my eating and exercising. I never had this trouble losing weight in Portland. And I have 23 weeks until my HALF MARATHON. Seriously, what was I thinking? Better burn some Nike rubber on that treadmill.

4. I am engrossed in the recent phenomenon of the "50 Shades" trilogy. I was up until 2 this morning reading. It's bad.

5. My cousin is getting married this fall which I'm stoked about. I love weddings. Everything about them. I've recruited someone to be my date in the case that I don't have an actual date and/or there's no one my age that goes.

6. Speaking of the wedding, it's on the same Saturday as Oregon State's first game. I told my dad that depending on the time of the wedding we should atleast tailgate before. I'm completely serious. We don't do half-assed fans in our house.

7. I hollered out loud this morning when I successfully turned over my 3 egg omelet with just a flick of the pan. Why, oh why didn't I go to culinary school??

8. I'm eager to get home for the summer and start working. I made good money last summer.

9. I like surprising the SoCal Alumnis (Alumnaes?), whatever they are called, I like surprising them with new Beaver gear. Everyone likes new Beaver gear.

10. I saw a guy at the gym the other week wearing a Legends of the Hidden Temple shirt. I googled them and I think I need a purple parrot shirt.

11. Since my friends read my blog, I want to bring to their attention that NONE OF THEM have signed up for The Color Run. I figured if I made it public they would take me seriously and sign up. All you have to do is click the link!

12. My dad was in town this week. We had delicious Indian food, chick pea fries, and goat cheese pizza. I love adventurous eaters.

13. I need to work on keeping my bedroom clean. Downside of living away from my parents since 18, no one to yell at me to clean my room.

14. I totally forgot about Mom's weekend this year. Bad daughter award. But I think we're just going to keep it simple with the comedy show and the baseball game. My mom has been keeping the books since she was young and she's the reason my sisters and I have known how to keep the books since probably age 8. We always begged her to let us help. She's also the reason all 3 of us girls shove wads of sunflower seeds in our mouths at once. And either spit them on the ground or in some sort of cup. We're such men. Thanks, Mom!

15. I think that's all for today. I'm going to figure out my 2 catch up posts.
