Here is our Christmas 2011 recap. Warning, there are A LOT of pictures.

I took this picture right when I woke up. Now, I want snow on Christmas as much as the next kid, but there's something about it being bright and sunny on Christmas morning that is just great.

Santa leaves the stockings on the hearth. And Santa always messes up on who's is who's. Santa probably couldn't find his glasses.

I wide up shot of the tree. Now, before you go thinking that's a lot of presents, that's presents for NINE people. And because we go one by one, it takes sweet forever. Proper present unwrapping is you must display your present, state who is the giver, cut ribbons if unable to pull them off, shoot the ribbon, basketball style, into the proper bag for saving, and then tear open that bad boy of a gift.

It was just me and the parent's that woke up at the house in the morning so Mamsie and I worked on Christmas lunch prep. Here she is putting out the rolls to rise. Yum!

The parentals in front of the Christmas tree.

Me, by myself, in front of the Christmas tree.

Ahhhhhh!!! The clouds just parted. There she is, the Holy Grail of Christmas breakfasts. Hot and delicious and ready to devour.

This was one of Dane's presents from his parents. Hilar.

The Newlyweds on their first Christmas as a married couple. I'm pretty sure this is like their 7th Christmas together, total. Daaaaaang.

Brother and family arrive and here is Miss Emma all snuggled in her blanket.

LR loooooved his new Camelbak water bottle. Dane has one and would always let him use it but I'm pretty sure he just likes chewing on the spout. I know I do.
And, for the record, LR is obsessed with Dane. He loves to say his name and likes when Dane lifts him up to the ceiling when he says, "up!". His aunts aren't strong enough.

Grandma loves it when babies stretch and arch their little backs. I caught the tail end of the stretch. Doesn't my niece look adorable in her Christmas pajamas?

Brother setting up the webcam on the big screen so we can chat and open presents with the Wookies.

Nephew was absolutely cray-cray on Christmas morning. Running around, slamming into things, stepping on presents. But it was so funny to watch.

Ry-Ry, trying to put on Middle Sister's new boots. They were thigh highs on him. Sexy.

SIL was stoked over her new hair straightener. Appartently LR was too. Look, there's Mrs. Wookie on the tv!

Me, corny Christmas pajamas, mimosa in hand, Ralphie wrapping paper.

Going for a drive in his PJs. He's got so much swagger in this picture!

T, so excited about her new Shark steam mop!!

Here he is trying to eat my new cookie scoop.

Hahahaha.

Miss Emma got the new bouncy seat she's in as a present. And here she is ready to open another one.

So excited about new pajamas! He's so darn cute.

Mams and BIL are so excited about her new iPhone 4s. She now has a newer one than me!

And we end with a picture of the man of the hour. He got that shirt and those jeans as a present and wanted to try them on.
Overall, it was a great Christmas. You never get used to not having your whole family there but it makes it easier with Skype. Plus, it's always that much more special the next year or two when you can be together. Here's to Christmas 2011!
