Yesterday was National Annoyance Day. I started off in a great mood but as soon as I got to school I was frustrated and it continued all day. I'll do my best to explain them. I hope I'm not alone...
1. When you get to class early, you wait until most of the class before you has left the room and then you start to enter. My fellow classmates and I started filing in and the professor from the class before was talking at the front to some of his students. He looks up and singles me out when he says, "I want your class to wait to come in and grant us our usual 5 minutes after class to talk." I didn't say anything and just turned and walked out the door. His class ends at 9:50am and our class starts at 10am. I looked at my phone and it was 9:53 when I went back out of the room. I personally feel like our class needs time to all find seats and get settled so we can be ready to go when our professor arrives.
2. I sit in the same area every class and yesterday a girl who sounded like she was on her death bed sat right next to me. She was coughing, sneezing, blowing her nose, snorting her snot back up her nose, it was nasty. I was so annoyed so I kept trying to list away from her. There were probably 5 others students in the back of the room that were hacking up a lung, too. People, if you're deathly ill, DON'T come to class! Either that or sit by the door/back of the room so you can excuse yourself quickly to blow your nose. Blowing your nose in a quiet classroom is SICK!
3. It's annoying when the person sitting next to you answers all off your professor's questions under his breath. And, it's doubly annoying when he gets an answer wrong but makes a mocking mouth noise basically instigating that the professor had the wrong answer.
4. Bicyclists need to learn and use the hand signals. Because, yes, it is annoying that I stop on Western waiting to turn left onto 26th to let you go across and you just stop on your bike and eventually go across in the other crosswalk towards the stadium. (I put the descriptions in so the townies would know where I was.)
So, those were my annoyances from yesterday. It feels good to vent. Expect my Project 366 to be up this afternoon!
Happy Tuesday!
Amen. To them all.
ReplyDeleteIf that teacher was rude to my baby girl, then maybe The Sheriff needs to come up and KHA?
